Randalyn Jean Buckton

April 25, 1952 — April 30, 2014

Randalyn Jean "Randy" Buckton, of Lowell, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 25, 1952 in Ashland, KY, to George R. and Vera Brown Buckton. Randy received her Masters Degree from Marshall University. She was a teacher in New Matamoras and enjoyed crafts and the Christmas season. Randy is survived by two brothers, George Buckton of Akron, CO and Ron Buckton of Rock Cave, WV, and a sister, Barbara Lindahl of Akron, CO. Abiding with Randy's wishes, she has been cremated . A private family service will be held at a later date, in Colorado. The Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is cremation arrangements for Randy's family. Donations may be made to The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, P.O. Box 5, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
