Rebecca Sue "Becky" Stutler, 64, of Marietta, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at OSU Medical Center, from a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. She was born in Marietta on April 11, 1950 to Harold and Grace Matheny Brown. Becky graduated from Marietta High School, Class of 1968, and the Nationwide Beauty Academy, then worked at JCPenney. She was artistic in her gardening, crafts, stained glass work and loved babysitting for her family. Becky was kind, thoughtful, generous and was always expressing her love for her family and friends. This loving wife and mother is survived by her husband, Gary Stutler, they were married September 14, 1969; her children, Jeremy Stutler (Carrie) of Marietta, Kevin Stutler of Philadelphia, PA and Lori Stutler of Marietta; her beautiful grandchildren, Grace, Audrey, Abigail and Cooper Stutler; brother, Jim Brown, of Marietta; sister, Mary Dennis (Nelson) of Marietta; mother in law, Ruth Stutler of Marietta and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She will be truly missed by all. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert McKinley, Dr. Roman Petrov and all those at Marietta Memorial and OSU Hospitals, as well as everyone else who cared for her through her illness. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Roger Rush officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
