Reta Jane Roff, 90, of Marietta, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Heartland of Marietta. She was born on August 1, 1928 in Frazeysburg, Ohio, to Clarence N and Edna P. Easterday Bagent.
Reta was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School. She retired from Banc Ohio National Bank as a Senior Teller. Reta was a member of the Harmar Hill Church of Christ, Business & Professional Women and the O'Neill Senior Center.
She is survived by her sister in law, Mary Jane Roff of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; brother in law, Nathan Lane of Peterstown, WV; step children, Randy Roff (Rocio) of Spartanburg, SC and Jana Offenberger of Waterford; step grandchildren, Chad Ponchak (Angie) and Matthew Roff; step great grandchildren, Natalie, Cami and Kenna Ponchak and Joab Camp; many nieces and nephews, including Angie Perry, Jane Cox and Michelle Crum; and special friend, Lily Varner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn L. Roff, whom she married on October 23, 1976; two brothers, John and Bobby Huffman; sister, Shirley Lane; and step son in law, Donald Offenberger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Preachers J.D. Conley and Terry Varner officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Marietta on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
