Richard Lee Barth

Richard Lee Barth, 89, of Marietta, died Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Heartland of Marietta. He was born in Marietta on April 7, 1925 to Carl William and Alma Lorena Decker Barth. Richard was a graduate of Marietta High School and was a member of Marietta College's first class of Petroleum Engineers in 1955, and had worked for many oil companies in the Northeast, as a consultant He was a US Army veteran of World War ll. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean. Abiding with his wishes, he was cremated and his ashes will be interred in Rainbow Cemetery.
