Richard P. Miller, died July 22, 2019. He was born on February 2, 1941 to Francis and Alice Christy Miller.
Dick is survived by wife, Jean Ann Kern Miller, married on May 6, 1961; children, Brenda Burkey (Jeffrey), Connie Wynn Hoblitzell, and Mark Miller (Nancy); grandchildren, Nicole Cornetet, Tawnie Wright, Clay, Kylie and Neil Wynn, Bayden Hoblitzell, Arienne Coe and Alex Miller; many great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lou Binegar, Margaret McDermott, Roger and John Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, with The Rev. John Michael Campbell celebrating. Entombment of his ashes will take place after the Mass. There will be no visitation. A celebration of Dick's life will be at Marietta Wine Cellars following the entombment.
