Richard Anthony "Tony" Weber, 63, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on November 10, 1957 in Marietta, to Charles Richard "Dick" Weber and Betty Lou Lowe Weber Boersma.
Tony was owner and operator of Weber's Market in Marietta. He was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, Knights of Columbus, where he was a 4th Degree Knight, Son of the American Legion, former City of Marietta Council member, Shriner, Hibernians, a past Director General and charter member of the Sternwheel Festival, charter member of the WWWW Club and a member of the Marietta Boat Club. Tony was always the first person to help those in need. He enjoyed boating, traveling and his two cats.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Suzanne Brown Weber; mother and stepfather, Betty Lou Weber Boersma (Bob); siblings, Cecilia Eversman (Bill), Mary Summers (Jeff), Joe Weber (Brandi), Mike Weber, Neva Kern (Mike) and Beth Brooker (Jake); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, with The Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell and The Rev. Mark Moore concelebrating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
