Rodger Leonard Clutter

April 12, 1935 — January 24, 2020

Rodger L. Clutter, 84, died Friday, January 24, 2020 in Marietta, surrounded by his family. Born April 12, 1935 in Midland, PA, he was a son of the late Leonard and Beatrice Whipple Clutter.

Rodger had served as a ship fitter in the US Navy aboard the USS Newport News. He retired from Kardex as a fabricator. He was a member of the Fort Harmar Gun Club, the NRA and enjoyed gardening.

Rodger married Glenna (Shilling) Neville September 16, 1971. She survives with a daughter, Leslie Haas (David) of Marietta and their daughter Reagan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marlene Steed.

Abiding with his wishes, cremation will be observed with private family services to be held later.

Contributions in Rodger's memory may be directed to either the youth programs at Fort Harmar Gun Club, P. O. Box 475 or for the benefit of feline care operations at the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, 90 Mt. Tom Road, both in Marietta, OH 45750.
