Roger Lee Hupp, 75, of Lowell, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Heartland of Marietta. He was born on October 13, 1943 in Marietta, Ohio, to Teddy B. and Lucille Johnette Bauer Hupp.
Roger was a 1961 graduate of Fort Frye High School and he obtained a Mechanical Engineering Degree. He co-owned and operated R&R IGA and Applegarths Drive-In in Lowell for many years with his wife, Mary. Roger also did some farming and later drove truck. He enjoyed fishing and hunting as well.
He is survived by three children, Mike Hupp (Susan), Steve Hupp and Cathy Stegner; six grandchildren, Scott, Katie, Emily, Tyler, Zachary and Josh; two great grandchildren, Christopher and Hallie; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Creel Hupp, whom he married on April 5, 1969; and brother, James Hupp.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral
Home, with The Rev. Neil Cadle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
