Roxie Ann Neville, 44, of Waterford, died Monday, August 18, 2014, at the Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1969 in Marietta to Max and Lois Abbott Pugh. Roxie was a 1988 graduate of Waterford High School and was employed by Peoples Bank for 25 years, always participating in any functions involving her place of employment. She was an energetic participant of the following organizations, Future Homemakers of America, 4-H leader, 4-H Advisory Board, Extension Advisory, Barlow Sr. Fair Board, Barlow Jr. Fair Board Advisor, Farm Bureau, the Republican Women's Club, Relay for Life, and the March of Dimes. She had also been a poll worker for the Board of Elections. Roxie was very active in, and supportive of, all local activities, fund raisers and organizations, which included buying animals from the local junior livestock sales. She sold and collected Longaberger for many years. Roxie is survived by her life partner, best friend, and husband of 20 years, Brandon, her mother, two sisters, Diane and Vicki Pugh, and an uncle who was raised in the home, David (Dolores) Abbott, all of Cutler. Also survived by her in laws, Bobby and Barbara Neville of Marietta, Brian Neville (Michelle) of Loudonville, Ohio, and their two children. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, Clifford and Mabel Pugh and Leonard and Marie Abbott, and grandparents in law, John and Ruth Drake and Robert and Helen Neville. Funeral services will be held at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Thursday, August 21, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Richard Thomas officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in Watertown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rockin Roxies Fund, c/o Peoples Bank, PO. Box 738, Marietta, OH 45750, for brain tumor awareness to help others through similar situations.
