Ruth Eileen Kirby Ferrebee, 74, of Williamstown, WV died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at her home. She was born November 23, 1936 in Paden City, WV to Harley and Zelma Anderson Kirby. She had worked at Fenton Art Glass in quality control. Eileen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Williamstown, where she had directed the choir and was the church pianist. She was a member of Williamstown American Legion Auxiliary, Unit #159, and was past president of the Williamstown Jr. Women's Club. Eileen is survived by her fianc, Russell Lee Burton, a daughter, Joy Hossman (Greg) of Marietta, two sons, William Ferrebee, Jr. (Donna) of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Jeffrey Ferrebee (Peggy) of Marietta, ten grandchildren, Megan See (Janelle Bartimus) of Columbus, Shauna Hearing (Jon) of Cambridge, Adam Hossman (Melinda), Astin See, Brandy Nutter, and David Lowery, all of Marietta, Joshua Ferrebee of Cutler, and Tyler Ferrebee, Ben Caltrider and Garrett Ferrebee, all of North Myrtle Beach, six great grandchildren, one brother, William Kirby, of Conway, SC, two nephews and one niece, and special family friend, Marcia Milam Westbrook. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Ferrebee, Sr. Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Easter officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown. The family will greet friends at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday. There will be Legion Auxiliary services by Unit #159 at 7:00 pm Friday.
