Ruth E. Henry, 85, of Chesapeake, Virginia died on May 14, 2010. She was born November 3, 1924, a daughter of Charles and Lela Fleming McVay. She married Emerson Henry on February 7, 1945. Survivors are her husband and two sons, Joe Henry of Austin, Texas and Glenn Henry and wife, Marian, of Norfolk, Virginia; three grandsons, Craig, Mason and Nolan Henry; and a nephew Harold Scott McVay. Her parents, sister, Mildred McVay and brother, Harold McVay preceded her in death. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Barlow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. The Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
