Sally Ann Casto, 53, of Rathbone Road, Marietta fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith. She passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011, at her home. She was born June 30, 1957 in Marietta, a daughter of Harold (Pete) and Betty Clark Rossiter of Beverly. She grew up in Beverly and graduated from Fort Frye High School, Class of 1975. She worked at Harmar School as a secretary for fourteen years and Marietta City Schools Board of Education office as accounts payable clerk for four years. She was a member of the Marietta Church of God. She loved her job, her many friends, her dog, Otis, and cats, Willie Nelson and Dolly Mae Parton. Sally dearly loved her family. Her parents survive, along with her husband and best friend for over 32 years, Larry D. Casto, whom she married on April 29, 1978, their two children, daughter, Beth Ann Casto and son, Brian David Casto of Marietta, two sisters, Susan Strauss (Gene) and Molly Hutchinson (Nick) of Marietta, brother Tim Rossiter (Sherrie) of Beverly, mother in law, Norma Jean Biehl, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her fathers in law, Robert L. Casto and Donald Biehl, special aunt, Marge Minard ,and special friend, Lassie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011, at noon at the Marietta Church of God, 501 Colegate Drive, with Pastor John Coyle officiating. Visitation will be held at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and anytime on Sunday, where the family will be present from 2 to 8 p.m. There will also be visitation on Monday at the church for one hour prior to her service.
