Sandra Lynn "Sandy" Hill, 62, of Marietta, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 29, 1949 in Marietta to Robert and Martha Lauer Tyson. She had worked at Vogue Swift Cleaners, was a member of Marietta First Church of the Nazarene and loved to crochet. She is survived by her two daughters, Christy Taylor (Steve) of Clarington and Kathi Hill of Waterford, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren, a brother, Kelly Tyson (Misty) of Wheatland, WY, a sister, Connie Duncan (Dennis) of Royston, GA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Hill on April 1, 1993, her parents, brother, Ralph Tyson, and great granddaughter, Makenah Ridley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
