Sarah Lou Roff, 78, a long time resident of the Washington County Home, died Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was born December 11, 1931 in Washington County to Elza Ray and Sara Esther Reed Roff. She had attended the Lowell Christian Church. Sarah is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Roff of Gahanna and Reta Roff of Marietta; nieces and nephews, Jane Cox, Jerry Roff, Brad Roff, Dan Roff, Suzanne Napper, Randy Roff and Jana Offenberger; many great and great nieces and nephews, as well as special friends Albert and Jessie King of Lowell. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Juanita Dye and brothers, Virgil, Neil, and Glenn Roff, and nephew, Larry Dye. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Rob Tuttle officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Her visitation will be on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Washington County Home, 845 County House Lane, Marietta, or to the Lowell Christian Church, P.O. Box 326, Lowell.
