She loved her family and friends, she could often be seen sitting in the office with her assistant Cloyd King, or watching game shows with her friend, Glenna. She had many wonderful friends that she adored and made numerous memories with.

Susie was a big Elvis fan, arriving in Heaven on his birthday, just in time to celebrate with him.
She was the biggest fan of any and all events her grandchildren were involved with. Susie was extremely proud of her Marine grandson, Kurtis, her beautiful and smart granddaughters, Sammi, Anika and Brylee, her loving grandchildren, Johnathan and Mariann. She loved them all, but no one held her heart like her baby, her side kick, her partner, her could do no wrong favorite, Brody.

She is survived by her four children, Cecil McCoy (Lorree) of Kemp, TX, Susan Weekley (Sam) of Layman, Ohio; John C. Nelson, III of Vincent and Annie Nelson of Cambridge, Ohio; grandchildren, Kurtis Weekley (Cheyana), Brylee Weekley, Sammantha VanHoose, Anika Engstrom (Eric), Marianne McCarty (Chris), Jessica Jones (Eric); and the Baby, also her favorite, Brody Weekley; great grandchildren, Johnathan McCoy, and JR and Christopher Jr McCarty; siblings, Laverna Syrus (Ron) of Iverness, FL, Syd Hornsby of Marion, Ohio, Dorothy Gillenwater, David Cain and Butch Cain, all of Mason, WV; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Augusta Stephens and Sophie Nelson; and brother, Eddie Cain.
