Terence Lee "Terry" Huck, 58, of Beverly, died Friday morning, October 2, 2015, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Born October 24, 1956 in Marietta, he was a son of the late Bernard Joseph and Dorothy Smith Huck, Sr.
He was a graduate of Fort Frye High School, and had worked as an associate at King's Furniture, in Beverly for 34 years and later at Professional Auto Parts, in Waterford for 6 years. Terry was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He had coached Fort Frye High School boys and girls basketball, as well as football for nearly 30 years. Terry enjoyed his coaching career and time spent with his family.
He was married on April 26, 1975, to Yvonne King, who survives with one daughter, Lacey Worthington (Daniel) of Lowell, five sons, Chad Huck (Missy), Eric Huck (Joel), Adam Huck (Laura), Kyle Huck (Kristen), and Terren Huck, all of Beverly; 17 grandchildren; and four sisters, Debbie Madison (John) of Indianapolis, Nancy Huck and Mary Beth Caffey (Allen) of Lowell, and Laurie Offerman of Auburndale, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard J Huck, Jr. and by his father and mother in law, Paul and Evelyn King.
Funeral Liturgy, with Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, with the Rev. Monsignor Robert Kawa officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Terry's family will greet friends from 2-8 pm Monday at St. Bernard's Social Hall, where Prayer Services will be held at 7:30 pm. Arrangements are being handled by the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
It is suggested that memorials may be directed to either the Fort Frye High School Athletic Dept., 100 5th Street, or to the charity Mary's House, P. O. Box 1005, both in Beverly, OH 45715.
