Thelda Juanita Hall, 83, died April 21, 2015 at Harmar Place. She was born on March 26, 1932 in Marietta to Letha M. and Gerald H. Hall. Thelda was a 1950 graduate of Marietta High School and had attended Marietta College. She had resided on Acme Street in her family home until 2013. Her interests included reading mysteries, science fiction (Star Trek), and books about animals. Thelda collected unusual Fenton Art Glass. Her family had raised Shi-tzus for show dogs, and she cherished pets. She is survived by sister in law, Joan Hall; nieces, Terri Blackwood and Lori Seevers and nephew, Mike Hall. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard, and nephew, Alan Hall. Complying with her wishes to continue to be of help to others, Thelda has bequeathed her body to the Willed Body Program at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her ashes will be buried with family members at a later date. A memorial service will be held at the First Congregational United Church of Christ on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., where the family will greet friends one hour prior to services. The Rev.
