Thomas Truman Meiser, 68, of Lowell, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at his home. He was born December 14, 1947 in Marietta to Charles Lee and Wilda Jane Berry Meiser. Tom was a 1965 graduate of Waterford High School and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. He had retired as a mould maker from Fenton Art Glass Company in 2010, after 38 years of employment. Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Hunter Meiser, two daughters, Heather Ayers (Taten) of Lowell and Angela Meiser-Smith (James,) of Marietta, two grandchildren, Victoria Anne Mimken of Etowah, NC and Taten Emerson Ayers, of Lowell, a step grandchild, Zackary Loscar (fianc, Ashleigh Smith) of Parkersburg, WV, his mother, Wilda Gossman, of Marietta, sister, Jeanne Chalfant (Thomas) of Marietta, brother in law, Donald Hunter, of Marietta, sisters in law, Marcia Hunter, of Perrysburg, OH and Amy Meiser, of St. Marys, PA, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Charles William Meiser. Abiding with his wishes, he has been cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
