Thomas Harvey Monaghan

Thomas Harvey Monaghan, 71, of Lowell, died Friday, February 12, 2016, at his home. He was born May 9, 1944 in Marietta, a son of Lawrence A. and Martha M. Tulip Monaghan. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam, serving two tours of duty, beginning September 6, 1961 and ending March 10, 1970. Tom retired as a line installer from Verizon. He was a life member of the VFW and DAV in Venice, FL, member of American Legion Post 389, Beverly,and the Lowell Moose. Tom is survived by his best friend and partner, Sandy Moore, of Lowell, son, Daniel Monaghan, of Land O Lakes, FL, daughter Kim Monaghan, of Nashville, TN; sister, Naomi Jean Wilson, of Belle Valley; grandsons, Daniel, James and William, and special friends, Robin and Debbie DeVaney and John Tullius. The Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples is honored to carry out Tom's wishes, which were to be cremated and for there to be no services.
