Timothy Edward Wiblin

Timothy Edward Wiblin, 50, of Way Road, Belpre, died Sunday, December 28, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. He was born January 3, 1958 in Parkersburg, WV to William Gerald Wiblin and Nancy Carole Winans Ward. He had received a bachelors degree in mathematics and education and his masters in education and administration from Harding College. He is currently a professor at Ohio Valley University and was co- owner and operator of ITTSSG. Tim had been a principal at Warren High School; vice principal at Wachusett Regional High in Holden, MA; athletic director at Gorham High School in Gorham, ME; and teacher and wrestling coach at Williamstown High School. He attended the Belpre Church of Christ, and the Lynn Street Church of Christ in Parkersburg. He had been an entrepreneur and enjoyed all aspects of information technology. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Ward of Marietta; three children, Seth Sprague of Parkersburg and Timber and Abraham Wiblin of Barlow; two brothers, James Wiblin (Vicki) of Marietta and Jonathon (Brenda) of Avon Lake, OH; a sister, Susanne Wiblin Stewart (Richard) of Marietta; three nieces, Courtney Wiblin Albrecht (Jeremy), Kylee and Kirstin Wiblin; four nephews, Wesley, Ethan, and Jaret Wiblin, and Wade Stewart; many cousins, and friends; two uncles, The Rev. Ray Wiblin (Judy) of Belpre and Thomas Winans of Crestview, FL and an aunt, Betty Akers (Cam) of Bear Cove, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Florence and Edward Winans and Cecil and Marie Wiblin and an uncle, Richard Wiblin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2009, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery in Belpre.
