Tonya Rebecca Deem Huffman, 63, of Vincent, Ohio, went to heaven on November 16, 2024, following a two year battle with cancer. She was born on July 24, 1961, in Parkersburg, WV, to Denver and Ruth Deem, of Vienna, who preceded her in death. Her brother, Mitchell Deem (Charlene) of Parkersburg also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sister, Robin Lemon (Dave) of Belpre; her husband of 41 years, William E. Huffman of Vincent; she is the mother of William “Zak” Huffman of Parkersburg, LaTosha Hardman (Michael) of Belpre and Debby Rudy of Belpre; the grandmother “Nonnie” to Bella Hardman, Ty Hardman, Nancy Eden Huffman, Alex Allphin, Nathan Warner, Dylan Warner, Kodi Rudy, Cory Rudy, Collin Smeeks and Caden Smeeks; the aunt of Michelle Dowell, Ashley Davis (Warren) and Jacob Lemon; and the great-aunt of Jayden Dowell, Emmijenn Dowell and Warren Davis.
Tonya worked most of her life as a photographer, having an eye for beautiful things. In hippie tradition there will not be a formal service, please feel free to send your condolences to Bill Huffman at P.O. Box 217, Vincent, Ohio 45784. Abiding her wishes, a private burial will take place in Barlow Central Cemetery.
