Victor Eugene Norris

July 21, 1962 — August 23, 2015

Victor Norris began his eternal life on Sunday morning, August 23, 2015, in Marietta, Ohio. Victor was born in Zanesville Ohio on July 21, 1962. Victor was a graduate of Maysville High School in 1980. He dedicated his life caring for people as a healthcare provider at Genesis Good Samaritan in Zanesville and was currently part of the Selby General Hospital family. Victor's compassion touched those he encountered, and he was especially devoted to his children. Victor enjoyed fishing and cooking for his family from his home grown garden. He was a very humble, selfless man that will be greatly missed.
Victor is survived by his wife, Susannah Valentine Norris, and his children, Shakur, Novalee, Trey, and Alisha Norris, Jordan Rhodes, Victoria Swingle, and Victor Watts. He is also survived by his mother, Joann Spencer (Evans), his father that raised him, Irie Hughes, his brothers Randy (Brenda) Hughes, and Irie Hughes Jr. (Vickie) all of Zanesville, Ohio, his in-laws, Ann and Dennis Valentine, and sister-in-law, Sarah (Dave) Korodi of Marietta Ohio.
Victor was preceded in death by his father, Victor E Norris Sr., his brother Jeffrey Norris, and his son, Jordan Jade Norris.
There will be a celebration of Victor's Life at Devola Volunteer Fire Company at 1286 Masonic Park Road in Marietta, Ohio, on Saturday August 29th with family receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 1:00 pm. Victor's family invites anyone that was touched by his life to come celebrate.
