Wanda June Perry, 62, of Marietta, passed away at The Arbors on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. She was born October 10, 1953 to Howard S. and Evelyn J. Lent Perry. She lived all of her life in the Marietta area. Wanda graduated from Marietta Senior High School, class of 1972, after which she attended Mountain State College in Parkersburg, WV. During high school she was a member of the National Honor Society. Also, she was a member of Highland Ridge Community Church and American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 64. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and her cats, Peaches and Ebony. During college she worked part time at St. Joseph's Hospital. After college she worked for Barengo Insurance Agency, then worked for Perry & Associates, CPAs, for over 30 years. She is survived by a sister in law, Patti Jo Perry; of Belpre, three nieces, Misty Sue Perry-Durham (Michael Anthony Durham II) and Amy Marie Perry of Charleston, SC and Tiffany Rose Perry of Belpre; two great nephews, Brody Anthony and Cooper Randall Durham of Belpre, an uncle and numerous cousins. Wanda was preceded in death by her brother, Randall H. Perry, in 2015 and her parents, Howard S. and Evelyn J. Perry, in 2003 and 2012, respectively. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry H. and Frieda Lauer Beardmore Lent and John Quincy, Sr. and Lola Lee Parsons Perry. Funeral services will be held at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2016, with Pastor Don Hart officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be in Highland Ridge Community Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, P.O.
