William Lloyd Kaneff

William Lloyd "Bill" Kaneff, 87, of Marietta, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Heartland of Marietta. He was born February 1, 1927 in Marietta to Arthur C. and Goldie H. Warman Kaneff. He had been employed at Nelson's Earthmoving and Tire Shop and later by Ford Brothers Trucking. He passionately loved to garden and had also raised cattle. Bill is survived by his wife, Cleo M. Callihan Kaneff, four sons, Roger (Janet) of Pleasant City, Paul (Mary Anne) of Las Cruces, NM, Steven (Kathy) of Rio Rancho, NM and Scot (Lila) of Barlow, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Yvonne Ritchie officiating. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6 to 8. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery. Donations to a charity of choice.
