William J. "Bill" McCauley, 75, of Marietta, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born January 13, 1936 in Lockport, NY to Dr. William J. and Janet Wemple McCauley. He was a 1954 graduate of Lockport High School and a 1958 graduate of Salem College, Salem, WV. He served in the U.S. Army. Bill had worked for General Motors Financial Department, Harrison Radiator Division in Lockport, NY for 30 years. He was a member of the Lions Club and the Lockport Tennis Association and enjoyed golf and tennis. Bill is survived by his wife, Judith Dowling McCauley, they were married on November 11, 2000. Also survived by his daughter, Judith McCauley of Lockport, granddaughter, Nora Passuite, two stepdaughters, Lynn Graham (Aaron) of Marietta and Anne Suchevits (Rich) of Destin, FL and four step grandchildren, Jackson, Alec and Addison Graham and Tyler Suchevits. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert, and his first wife, Carolyn Jane Engle McCauley. Abiding with his wishes, he has been cremated.
