William E. Miller, Sr.

William E. Miller Sr., age 77, of McConnelsville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024. He was born on Sunday, January 5th, 1947 in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia to Henry and Helen Liston Miller. William proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a dedicated employee at the Ford Plant for 35 years before retiring in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He is survived by his three children, Jerry Larew Sr. (Shelli), Shawn Vanderpool (Todd), and William E. Miller Jr. (Kim), as well as eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. William is also survived by his siblings Tootsie, Deberry, Bob Miller (Sue), Jamie Miller (Donna), Jeff Miller (Kelly), Robin Miller, Carolyn O'Denell (Dick), and Roger Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Helen Miller, two grandsons, two great-grandsons, and one infant brother. A Celebration of Life will be held at the MARIETTA CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME in Marietta, Ohio on Friday, April 26th, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with Military Honors at 6:00 pm.
