Wilma M. Binegar Fallon
Wilma Margaret Binegar Fallon, 84, of Franklin Ave., Belpre, died Sunday, November 8, 2009, at her residence. She was born December 21, 1924 in Independence Township, Washington County, Ohio to Harry and Margaret Snyder Binegar. She was a 1942 graduate of DeSales Heights in Parkersburg. Wilma was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and had a strong religious faith. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and playing cards. She is survived by four daughters, Debra Fitzgerald (Bruce) of Seaford, DE, Patricia Moore of Marshalls Creek, PA, Mary Ann Fallon of Marietta and Carolyn Rutherford (James) of Vincent, nine grandchildren, Daniel and Elliot Fitzgerald, Dara Fitzgerald Hall, Michelle, Brian, and Maureen Moore, Kayla, Rachael and Brittany Rutherford, and two brothers, George G. Binegar (Mary Lou) of Marietta and Robert Binegar of Avon Park, FL. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, John Fallon on April 21, 1978, they had been married on November 26, 1953; two sons-in-law, Martin Moore and Robert Rutherford, a grandson, Jarod Fallon, three brothers, Roy, Curtis and Charles Binegar and four sisters, Dolores Abele, Myrna Long, Regina Watson, and Mary Podbreger. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta, with the Rev. Robert Gallagher as celebrant. Entombment will be at East Lawn Mausoleum. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
